Parameter 1 should be the rank of the taxon, eg, species, genus, family, subfamily, superfamily, class, subclass, phylum, subphylum, etc.

Parameter 2 should be the bacteria name if it is not the same as the pagename. If the name is multipart, as a species name, then parameter 2 should contain the name with the components separated by hyphens.

Experimentation with rank (parameter 1) and the spelling of the taxon (parameter 2) to find the recognized spelling, which may make the taxon you entered a synonym.
