• It's been decided to not include alternate, non-candrabindu spellings for ordinals. (See: discussion) For example, the spelling आठवाँ (อาฐวาํ์), which includes the candrabindu, is preferred over आठवां (อาฐวาํ). As usual, alternate spellings continue to be mentioned on the entry page, such as आठवाँ#Alternative_forms.
